After 3 minutes, Luizão Trancoso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the War Dragon FC and the NIP F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luizão Trancoso kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. When NIP F.C's Duda Romero in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye War Dragon FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duda Romero in the 9th minute of play forced War Dragon FC's goalkeeper Frédson Linares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 12 played minutes War Dragon FC got a freekick which was hit by Luizão Trancoso. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Duda Romero put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Frédson Linares. Frédson Linares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Duda Romero's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Aírton Vides received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Frédson Linares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Duda Romero struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Frédson Linares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NIP F.C. Percy Pernambucano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Frédson Linares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Duda Romero sped through War Dragon FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Frédson Linares. Percy Pernambucano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frédson Linares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Duda Romero's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Aírton Vides sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nildo das Neves hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Pedrão Peixoto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carlos Fernando Furlan. NIP F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 42nd play minutes Duda Romero shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Frédson Linares and just under the crossbar into goal. Duda Romero struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Frédson Linares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NIP F.C.

A collision led to NIP F.C getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Aírton Vides hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, War Dragon FC's Pedrão Peixoto tried to score from far away in the 53rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luizão Trancoso in the 56th minute of play forced NIP F.C's goalkeeper Carlos Fernando Furlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When NIP F.C's Duda Romero in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye War Dragon FC's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Duda Romero kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Frédson Linares. That made the score 0-4 in the 61 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duda Romero in the 64th minute of play forced War Dragon FC's goalkeeper Frédson Linares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Percy Pernambucano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute, Luizão Trancoso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Fernando Furlan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. When NIP F.C's Duda Romero in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye War Dragon FC's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of NIP F.C booed when War Dragon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Miranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Duda Romero who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Frédson Linares when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Duda Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frédson Linares having to interfere. Carlos Fernando Furlan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Norberto Favoretto went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. Frédson Linares made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Duda Romero sent off a good shot on target. When NIP F.C's Duda Romero in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye War Dragon FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 88th minute, NIP F.C's Duda Romero ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Frédson Linares. Frédson Linares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-5. Duda Romeros short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Frédson Linares to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Aírton Vides fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frédson Linares having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Duda Romero put it in 2-6 from a short distance just to the right of Frédson Linares. The War Dragon FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. NIP F.C were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
