Spectators: 7198 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) Célio Nogueira started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Júlio Ceresso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luan Custódio in the 4th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Macarani's zone, Luan Custódio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Júlio Ceresso came out of the goal and Luan Custódio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 11 minutes into the match, Macarani's goal looked a bit too open when Luan Custódio came free, but Júlio Ceresso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Célio Nogueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 24 minutes, Gualter Rezende managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Macarani's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gualter Rezende was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Amadeu Hermes fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Imaculada AD's protests and gave Amadeu Hermes a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Macarani booed when Imaculada AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeu Hermes didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Célio Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Medeiros scored 0-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Júlio Ceresso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Amadeu Hermes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 42 played minutes Macarani got a freekick which was hit by Guga Pitta. After having played for 47 minutes, Célio Nogueira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Macarani's supporters crossed their fingers, but Célio Nogueira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guga Pitta during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 54 played minutes Macarani got a freekick which was hit by Guga Pitta. 55 minutes into the match, Luan Custódio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Júlio Ceresso. Macarani's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luan Custódio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. But to his dismay, Gualter Rezende quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 75th minute, Luís Medeiros reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Júlio Ceresso. The goal made the score 1-3. Lúcio dos Santos's late challenge caught a Imaculada AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lúcio dos Santos helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Macarani's Lúcio dos Santos got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 81st minute, Imaculada AD's Luís Medeiros ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Júlio Ceresso. Júlio Ceresso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. In the 83rd match minute, Imaculada AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Rosado to maneuver through the defense. Gualter Rezende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Edson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualter Rezende in the 94th minute of play forced Imaculada AD's goalkeeper Edson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Imaculada AD's zone, Gualter Rezende stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edson Amorim came out of the goal and Gualter Rezende tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Imaculada AD had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
