César Amaral didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Maquina Laranja F.C's Jacinto Munhoz shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Munhoz in the 18th minute of play forced Gremio's goalkeeper César Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laércio de Medeiros hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tiago Catarinense made the kick off in the second half. César Amaral came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Maquina Laranja F.C's Fabio Guter. But to his dismay, Fabio Guter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 57th match minute, Gremio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Catarinense to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute, Jacinto Munhoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maquina Laranja F.C's Gaudencio Basajaun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Catarinense in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Gremio's Narciso Fontes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1. 64 minutes into the match, Maquina Laranja F.C's goalkeeper Gaudencio Basajaun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tiago Catarinense. In the 66thth minute of the game Jacinto Munhoz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gremio's César Amaral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gremio fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 67th minute. Penalty! César Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Guter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. César Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Munhoz in the 98th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Maquina Laranja F.C had played much better football throughout.
