Gualter Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivo Fantini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7 minutes into the match, Soberano F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Ivo Fantini came free, but Gualter Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Velasco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gualter Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar da Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivo Fantini in the 16th minute of play forced Soberano F.C's goalkeeper Gualter Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Luiz Miranda fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Coadi's protests and gave Luiz Miranda a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Coadi getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Luiz Miranda hit a great ball. Gualter Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Téo da Silva in the 20th minute of the match. Edgar da Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualter Queirós having to interfere. Soberano F.C's Abel de Senna pulled a muscle in his back after 49 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Ivo Fantini charged in rather forcefully in the 49th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivo Fantini the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 49th match minute, Coadi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivo Fantini to maneuver through the defense.

Soberano F.C's Gualter Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar da Costa in the 55th minute of play. Gualter Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar da Costa in the 59th minute of the match. Gualter Queirós made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Ivo Fantini sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Soberano F.C's Gualter Queirós got control of the ball when Ivo Fantini tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Coadi's Gualter Queirós threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luiz Miranda, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gualter Queirós made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivo Fantini in the 98th minute. After some careless play in the Soberano F.C defense, Ivo Fantini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gualter Queirós. The Soberano F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gualter Queirós should have stopped the shot. The Coadi supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Coadi would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
