After 22 minutes of play, Capitao de Campos futboll's José Prestes made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frédson Miranda was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Capitao de Campos futboll's José Prestes in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 29th minute, Juninho Carioca had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfredinho Azevedo during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Capitao de Campos futboll booed when Factum in Memoriam was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredinho Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Richard Matorin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cléberson Dante in the 32nd minute of the match. Richard Matorin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonardo Pernambucano in the 33rd minute. When Factum in Memoriam's Rafinha Leme in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafinha Leme in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Richard Matorin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leonardo Pernambucano came free with the goalkeeper in the 47th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Richard Matorin could save by the left post. Donato Terra hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Factum in Memoriam were awarded a corner in the 51th minute after Capitao de Campos futboll's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Michel Soares took the corner. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafinha Leme to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Rafinha Leme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Factum in Memoriam's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafinha Leme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Richard Matorin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Capitao de Campos futboll's José Prestes got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Capitao de Campos futboll's Luís Eduardo Favoretto has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 68th minute. In the 75th minute, Marco Passos had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Capitao de Campos futboll's Donato Terra got his second yellow card of the match in the 75th minute. Alfredinho Azevedo struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Richard Matorin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Factum in Memoriam. Richard Matorin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Pernambucano, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. When Leonardo Guerra fell near the penalty area in the 99th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Capitao de Campos futboll's protests and gave Leonardo Guerra a yellow card for diving instead. Leonardo Guerra kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
