The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Breno Damião during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Breno Damião hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Gaudencio Basajaun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualter Rezende, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Júlio Ceresso came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Maquina Laranja F.C's Fabio Guter. But to his dismay, Fabio Guter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 11 minutes in the game, Jacinto Munhoz fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Júlio Ceresso having to interfere. Júlio Ceresso came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Maquina Laranja F.C's Fabio Guter. But to his dismay, Fabio Guter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Célio Nogueira during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 14 played minutes Macarani got a freekick which was hit by Célio Nogueira. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabio Guter got free with Júlio Ceresso in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Fabio Guter put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Júlio Ceresso. Fabio Guters short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Júlio Ceresso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Munhoz in the 29th minute of play forced Macarani's goalkeeper Júlio Ceresso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacinto Munhoz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Júlio Ceresso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 41st minute, Edvaldo Zonta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the match, Macarani's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Munhoz came free, but Júlio Ceresso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacinto Munhoz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Júlio Ceresso came out and tried to block the shot, but Jacinto Munhoz slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Fabio Guter made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Jacinto Munhoz notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Macarani's Júlio Ceresso. Júlio Ceresso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 57 minutes into the game, Fabio Guter cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Júlio Ceresso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Maquina Laranja F.C's Gaudencio Basajaun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guga Pitta in the 61st minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Maquina Laranja F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Célio Nogueira came free, but Gaudencio Basajaun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabio Guter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacinto Munhoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Júlio Ceresso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Macarani were furious when Edvaldo Zonta was red carded, 72 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Macarani! Jacinto Munhoz walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After 77 played minutes Macarani got a freekick which was hit by Albertinho Terra. After 79 minutes, Nildo Melo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maquina Laranja F.C and the Macarani players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Maquina Laranja F.C's Nildo Melo got a free kick in the 79th minute. Gaudencio Basajaun was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Laércio Pinheiro. Gualter Rezende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Gaudencio Basajaun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Júlio Ceresso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Guter in the 86th minute of play. Jacinto Munhoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Ceresso having to interfere. Júlio Ceresso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Munhoz in the 90th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Jacinto Munhoz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Júlio Ceresso. Macarani's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacinto Munhoz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Maquina Laranja F.C had played much better football throughout.
