Spectators: 7288 (Terracing: 5468, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 144) Célio Nogueira made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 8th minute Edgar da Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Ceresso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 10 minutes, Edgar da Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coadi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgar da Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 15th match minute, Macarani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Célio Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. Edgar da Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ivo Fantini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgar da Costa had several of the Macarani's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 23 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Júlio Ceresso as he didn't even see the shot coming. Edgar da Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Júlio Ceresso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivo Fantini got free with Júlio Ceresso in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Coadi booed when Macarani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albertinho Terra didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ivo Fantini came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Coadi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivo Fantini couldn't finish the play. Júlio Ceresso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar da Costa in the 40th minute of the match. Ivo Fantini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgar da Costa to make the kick off. Macarani's Gualter Rezende got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Célio Nogueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wawrzyniec Madej having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Ivo Fantini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Célio Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Júlio Ceresso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivo Fantini in the 68th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Téo da Silva during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Laércio Pinheiro struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Wawrzyniec Madej didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Macarani. The audience was convinced that Edgar da Costa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Júlio Ceresso was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Macarani's Gualter Rezende got a free kick in the 85th minute. Edgar da Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Júlio Ceresso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Macarani defense, Ivo Fantini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Júlio Ceresso. The Macarani fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Júlio Ceresso should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the Coadi players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
