Alex Ramalho started the match with the kick off. After 6 minutes, Alex Ramalho made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Capitao de Campos futboll's Richard Matorin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Juninho Carioca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Capitao de Campos futboll's Donato Terra got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Richard Matorin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Francisco Brodel, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Francisco Brodel in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Richard Matorin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Erasmo Tasso took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Richard Matorin. Richard Matorin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. João Francisco Brodel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Capitao de Campos futboll's Richard Matorin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Francisco Brodel in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Erasmo Tasso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Richard Matorin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Tasso in the 35th minute of play forced Capitao de Campos futboll's goalkeeper Richard Matorin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Donato Terra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cristian Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Francisco Brodel in the 43rd minute of play forced Capitao de Campos futboll's goalkeeper Richard Matorin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The MarkMinas FC fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when MarkMinas FC's Erasmo Tasso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

MarkMinas FC's Frank Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Guerra in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Capitao de Campos futboll's goal looked a bit too open when Erasmo Tasso came free, but Richard Matorin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Francisco Brodel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Capitao de Campos futboll's Richard Matorin got control of the ball when João Francisco Brodel tried to sneak it across the goal line. João Francisco Brodel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Richard Matorin came out and tried to block the shot, but João Francisco Brodel slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 61st minute. Erasmo Tasso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Richard Matorin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Capitao de Campos futboll's Richard Matorin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Tasso in the 69th minute of play. Erasmo Tasso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Wilson Batista fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Capitao de Campos futboll's protests and gave Wilson Batista a yellow card for diving instead. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Alex Ramalho took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Richard Matorin to make any attempt to save it. Frank Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Guerra in the 86th minute of the match. José Prestes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Velloso having to interfere. The corner ended in Samuel Paraibano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but MarkMinas FC's Frank Velloso did a great save. A hard and well directed shot from Samuel Paraibano led 93 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. MarkMinas FC's Frank Velloso became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-6. MarkMinas FC played a much better game than Capitao de Campos futboll and deserved their victory. The Capitao de Campos futboll players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
