Richard Matorin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Medeiros in the 8th minute of the match. Richard Matorin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Medeiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Luís Medeiros struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Richard Matorin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Imaculada AD. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luan Custódio got free with Richard Matorin in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 23rd minute, Leonardo Guerra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Capitao de Campos futboll fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, José Prestes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Capitao de Campos futboll's supporters rose to their feet, but José Prestes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edson Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Leonardo Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Capitao de Campos futboll's José Prestes got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Schmidt kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Leonardo Guerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luís Medeiros was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes, Edinho de Brito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Imaculada AD and the Capitao de Campos futboll players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th match minute, Imaculada AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edinho de Brito to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Capitao de Campos futboll's goalkeeper Richard Matorin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Richard Matorin came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Imaculada AD's Luan Custódio. But to his dismay, Luan Custódio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amadeu Hermes during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Imaculada AD's Amadeu Hermes got a free kick in the 64th minute. If Leonardo Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 78 minutes of play Imaculada AD's Edinho de Brito was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Edson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Guerra in the 84th minute of play. During the 84th minute of the match Amadeu Hermes completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Amadeu Hermes a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Capitao de Campos futboll booed when Imaculada AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeu Hermes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Richard Matorin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Schmidt in the 92nd minute of the match. Oscar Rosado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Richard Matorin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 99th minute, Capitao de Campos futboll's José Prestes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. The Capitao de Campos futboll supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Capitao de Campos futboll would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
