After 4 minutes, Manuel Gomes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maquina Laranja F.C and the Soberano F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 4 played minutes Maquina Laranja F.C got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Gomes. If Jacinto Munhoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute Jacinto Munhoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualter Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Fabio Guter ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gualter Queirós was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Fabio Guter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gualter Queirós read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. After 22 minutes of play, Maquina Laranja F.C's Fabio Guter made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gualter Queirós was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Maquina Laranja F.C getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Faustão Maia hit a great ball. When Jorge Velasco came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Soberano F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Velasco couldn't finish the play. In the 28th minute Jorge Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaudencio Basajaun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gualter Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Munhoz in the 29th minute of play. Gualter Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Guter, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Jorge Velasco struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Gaudencio Basajaun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Soberano F.C. 39 minutes into the match, Jacinto Munhoz notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Soberano F.C's Gualter Queirós. Gualter Queirós was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gualter Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Guter in the 46th minute of play. The Soberano F.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Maquina Laranja F.C were winning 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabio Guter to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Maquina Laranja F.C getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Jacinto Munhoz hit a great ball. In the 53rd play minute Fabio Guter came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gualter Queirós. 0-5. Fabio Guter took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gualter Queirós. Gualter Queirós dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. 64 minutes into the match, Fabio Guter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gualter Queirós. Soberano F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabio Guter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Gualter Queirós was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fabio Guter showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 68 minute of play. Jorge Velasco struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Gaudencio Basajaun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Soberano F.C. In the 79th minute, Rafinha Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Teodoro Rodrigues fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Soberano F.C's protests and gave Teodoro Rodrigues a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Maquina Laranja F.C booed when Soberano F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Rodrigues didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaudencio Basajaun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Velasco in the 83rd minute of the match. Gualter Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Munhoz in the 87th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Jacinto Munhoz fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post.
