Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hortêncio Esteves started the match with the kick off. Sidney do Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar da Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sidney do Nascimento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coadi. In the 13th minute, Ivo Fantini left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Coadi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Edgar da Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Sidney do Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sidney do Nascimento made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Edgar da Costa sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgar da Costa in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sidney do Nascimento saved Chalana EC from getting behind. Wawrzyniec Madej took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hortêncio Esteves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Coadi's zone, Anísio Urbano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wawrzyniec Madej came out of the goal and Anísio Urbano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Dráusio Soeiro fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chalana EC's protests and gave Dráusio Soeiro a yellow card for diving instead. Dráusio Soeiro hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Chalana EC's Sidney do Nascimento proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Chalana EC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hortêncio Esteves in the 33rd minute of play forced Coadi's goalkeeper Wawrzyniec Madej to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anísio Urbano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wawrzyniec Madej read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. If Edgar da Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Ivo Fantini ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sidney do Nascimento was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Coadi's Wawrzyniec Madej played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anísio Urbano in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute Edgar da Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidney do Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Edgar da Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Sidney do Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivo Fantini in the 55th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Chalana EC's Eurico Pereira got a free kick in the 57th minute. After some careless play in the Chalana EC defense, Ivo Fantini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sidney do Nascimento. The Chalana EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sidney do Nascimento should have stopped the shot. Edgar da Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgar da Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidney do Nascimento having to interfere. Hortêncio Esteves kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 74thth minute of the game Edgar da Costa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chalana EC's Sidney do Nascimento was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sidney do Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar da Costa in the 78th minute of the match. Coadi's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
