Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Delfim Lucas kicked off to start the match. Xavantes's Bebeto Cerezo got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Jailson Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ArAgOoN FC's Sandrinho Couto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delfim Lucas in the 11th minute of play. Jailson Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Meira having to interfere. In the 15th match minute, Xavantes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Alberto Capixaba to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, ArAgOoN FC's Edmílson Magalhães broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a rather tough play, Xavantes's Carlos Alberto Capixaba got a free kick in the 17th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Xavantes's zone, Jailson Leite stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Meira came out of the goal and Jailson Leite tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Xavantes booed when ArAgOoN FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Betinho Porto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sandrinho Couto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bebeto Cerezo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jailson Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jailson Leite blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victor Meira having to make a save. 40 minutes into the match, Bebeto Cerezo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sandrinho Couto. ArAgOoN FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bebeto Cerezo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

53 minutes into the match, Xavantes's goal looked a bit too open when Betinho Porto came free, but Victor Meira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Xavantes's goalkeeper Victor Meira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Reinaldo Dantas hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute, Jailson Leite made a precise shot to the right of Victor Meira. Xavantes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bebeto Cerezo got free with Sandrinho Couto in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 67 minutes into the match, ArAgOoN FC's goalkeeper Sandrinho Couto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bebeto Cerezo. Victor Meira came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by ArAgOoN FC's Jailson Leite. But to his dismay, Jailson Leite quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Betinho Porto in the 76th minute of play forced Xavantes's goalkeeper Victor Meira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Carlos Augusto Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Afonsinho Campidelis hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Victor Meira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Betinho Porto, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Joélson Vieira hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After having played for 82 minutes, Jailson Leite managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ArAgOoN FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jailson Leite was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Victor Meira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betinho Porto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to ArAgOoN FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Betinho Porto hit a great ball. Bebeto Cerezo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Sandrinho Couto made a huge save. After 97 played minutes Xavantes got a freekick which was hit by Cléber Goiano. There was no doubt that ArAgOoN FC were the better team. ArAgOoN FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
