The supporters of Flamengo booed when FullForward was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armandinho Terra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Afonsinho Arce's late challenge caught a Flamengo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Afonsinho Arce helped the player get up and apologised. After 17 played minutes FullForward got a freekick which was hit by Afonsinho Arce. Gilberto Oliveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göktürk Sayamon having to interfere. The supporters of Flamengo booed when FullForward was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonsinho Arce didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kauã Dante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Göktürk Sayamon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Gilberto Oliveira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Göktürk Sayamon. That made the score 3-0 in the 34 minute of play. In the 37th minute Gilberto Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Göktürk Sayamon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, FullForward's goalkeeper Göktürk Sayamon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kauã Dante. Göktürk Sayamon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiaguinho Furtado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Göktürk Sayamon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kauã Dante in the 44th minute. Toninho Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Gilberto Oliveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilberto Oliveira to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Kauã Dante's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Göktürk Sayamon was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in FullForward's zone, Kauã Dante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Göktürk Sayamon came out of the goal and Kauã Dante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 58 minutes, Laerte da Silva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FullForward and the Flamengo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Laerte da Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, FullForward's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Oliveira came free, but Göktürk Sayamon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 66 minutes, Gilberto Oliveira made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. FullForward's Göktürk Sayamon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 73rd match minute, FullForward was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonsinho Arce to maneuver through the defense. Göktürk Sayamon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Oliveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Kauã Dante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göktürk Sayamon having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gilberto de Souza during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 86th minute, Gilberto de Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 88 minutes into the match, Flamengo's goal looked a bit too open when Toninho Cruz came free, but Ionică Cantemir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilberto de Souza struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Göktürk Sayamon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flamengo. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Flamengo had played much better football throughout.
