Michel Lucas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Jean Coelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jean Coelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elano Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Vila Nova's Jean Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elano Barbosa in the 21st minute of play. If Elano Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kauan Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cauã França, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Didi Pimenta was the one to do the kick off. Tomé Meirelles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 55th minute, Vila Nova's Anísio Fernandez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kauan Martins. Kauan Martins yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Reynaldo Varela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Kauan Martins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Elano Barbosa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jean Coelho was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Vila Nova's Didi Pimenta slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kauan Martins. That made the score 2-3 after 71 minutes of play. Manuel Batista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elano Barbosa in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jean Coelho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 81st minute, Didi Pimenta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michel Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean Coelho having to interfere. Vila Nova were furious when Wilson Trancoso was red carded, 93 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of ▓►Ά₤ỤŁẲØ◄▓ booed when Vila Nova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilson Trancoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Vila Nova's zone, Claudinho Reis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jean Coelho came out of the goal and Claudinho Reis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Vila Nova players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented ▓►Ά₤ỤŁẲØ◄▓ from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
