In the 5th match minute, Piratiny SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oswaldo Torres to maneuver through the defense. Guarimazinho AD's Christiano França couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 6th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Piratiny SC. In the 9th minute, Juvenal Brasil fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Geovânio Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Piratiny SC's Kléber Teixeira threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Juvenal Brasil, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 1-0 became the score in the 20th minute when Juvenal Brasil elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, Juvenal Brasil reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kléber Teixeira. The goal made the score 2-0. After 26 minutes, Geovânio Godoi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Piratiny SC and the Guarimazinho AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. Geovânio Godoi hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Kléber Teixeira successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some careless play in the Guarimazinho AD defense, Juvenal Brasil kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kléber Teixeira. The Guarimazinho AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kléber Teixeira should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Mauro Lopez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Piratiny SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauro Lopez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kléber Teixeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juvenal Brasil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kléber Teixeira having to interfere. Juvenal Brasil might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kléber Teixeira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juvenal Brasil ran back to his position shaking his head. Kléber Teixeira was a little too slow when Juvenal Brasil got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 48th minute. The score was now 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Juvenal Brasil made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 57 minutes, Mauro Lopez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piratiny SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauro Lopez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Juvenal Brasil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kléber Teixeira having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Juvenal Brasil's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kléber Teixeira was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Kléber Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juvenal Brasil, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After having played for 70 minutes, Norberto Severo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kléber Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juvenal Brasil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, Piratiny SC's Mauro Lopez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kléber Teixeira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juvenal Brasil in the 89th minute of play forced Guarimazinho AD's goalkeeper Kléber Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, Mauro Lopez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Piratiny SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Geovânio Godoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kléber Teixeira having to interfere.
