José Maria de Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magno de Amaral in the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute of the match Narciso Moreira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Willian Messias skillfully saved the ball. In the 25th minute Luís Gustavo Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willian Messias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Ziguifrid Metal Time getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Toninho Bezerra hit a great ball. The supporters of Aos Trancos E Barrancos booed when Ziguifrid Metal Time was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toninho Bezerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Despite this Willian Messias quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Willian Messias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Gustavo Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Magno de Amaral to make the kick off. Aos Trancos E Barrancos's Fausto Donato got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 74 minutes into the match, Ziguifrid Metal Time's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Gustavo Castro came free, but Willian Messias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Ceresso was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 86th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. José Maria de Andrade didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 89th minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. In the 95th minute Luís Gustavo Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willian Messias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Aos Trancos E Barrancos had won after a very even match.
