With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albertino Amaral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dedê Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Nunes having to interfere. Albertino Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wanderson Luz in the 11th minute of play. If Dedê Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Décio de Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Nunes having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Chico Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luiz Gustavo Simões hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. A collision led to Filadélfia FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Fabiano Valladares hit a great ball. Pedro Luiz Arce took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Albertino Amaral. Filadélfia FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dedê Cruz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Jairo Nunes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Albertino Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wanderson Luz in the 47th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maurinho Saldanha was the one to do the kick off. Albertino Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurinho Saldanha, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After 86 minutes of play, Filadélfia FC's Dedê Cruz made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jairo Nunes was left in no man's land by his defense there! CuckFC's Jairo Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dedê Cruz in the 95th minute of play. The supporters of CuckFC booed when Filadélfia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélio Valladares didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 99th minute, Pedro Luiz Arce sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Filadélfia FC's Albertino Amaral didn't even have to move.
