Spectators: 7204 (Terracing: 5405, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) The supporters of Atibaia City FC booed when Ghost EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murillo Matos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Beto Koehler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Gernando Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 0-1 became the score in the 16th minute when Beto Koehler elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Gernando Brasil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredinho Proença, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Rubens Berger hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, Beto Koehler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfredinho Proença recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 41 played minutes Ghost EC got a freekick which was hit by Guga Barreto. In the 47th minute Claudinho Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antônio Carlos Vides saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Delfim Loyola fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atibaia City FC's protests and gave Delfim Loyola a yellow card for diving instead. Delfim Loyola kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfredinho Proença to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Atibaia City FC got a freekick which was hit by Delfim Loyola. Ghost EC's Gernando Brasil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Ghost EC from getting a goal against them. Beto Koehler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Gernando Brasil made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredinho Proença in the 60th minute of play forced Ghost EC's goalkeeper Gernando Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredinho Proença might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gernando Brasil. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredinho Proença ran back to his position shaking his head. If Claudinho Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, Henrique Pinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Beto Koehler got free with Gernando Brasil in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredinho Proença in the 79th minute of play forced Ghost EC's goalkeeper Gernando Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gernando Brasil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Beto Koehler in the 89th minute. In the 92nd minute Alfredinho Proença shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gernando Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Atibaia City FC's Beto Koehler sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gernando Brasil narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
