Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Claudinho Aguiar made the kick off which started today's match. Claudinho Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 8 minutes into the match, Ghost EC's Claudinho Aguiar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tiago Cruz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 9th minute, Claudinho Aguiar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Giovanni Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gernando Brasil having to interfere. Gernando Brasil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lenílson Schmidt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Goianapolis booed when Ghost EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinho Aguiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Júlio Guimarães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Cruz having to interfere. Claudinho Aguiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Matheus das Neves's late challenge caught a Goianapolis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lenílson Schmidt couldn't finish the play. Júlio Guimarães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Tiago Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Júlio Guimarães could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Tiago Cruz made a huge save.
