Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Jaraaua getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Ricardinho Carioca hit a great ball. In the 29th match minute, Jaraaua was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulisses Corrêa to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute, Ricardinho Carioca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 31 minutes into the game, Ricardinho Carioca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jaraaua's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CuckFC the free kick. After 31 played minutes Jaraaua got a freekick which was hit by Ricardinho Carioca. After a defensive mix-up in CuckFC's zone, Waldemar Brodel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jairo Nunes came out of the goal and Waldemar Brodel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 42 minutes into the game, Ulysses Cavalcante was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CuckFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jaraaua the free kick. After a rather tough play, CuckFC's Ulysses Cavalcante got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd minute of the match Gualter Leal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jairo Nunes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Álvaro Branco hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil Varela in the 44th minute of play forced CuckFC's goalkeeper Jairo Nunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ricardinho Carioca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maurinho Saldanha to make the kick off. If Gil Varela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Gil Varela managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jaraaua's supporters rose to their feet, but Gil Varela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jairo Nunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ricardinho Carioca received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jairo Nunes came out and tried to block the shot, but Ricardinho Carioca slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 78th minute. If Gil Varela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CuckFC's Jairo Nunes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save CuckFC from getting a goal against them. Despite this Jairo Nunes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Gil Varela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rômulo Trancoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Nunes having to interfere.
