With a couple of smart ball manuevers Naldo Cosme in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maurício Reis saved CHUTE NO SACO F.C. from getting behind. In the 22nd minute, Danilo Vergílio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maurício Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Naldo Cosme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the game, Laércio Linhares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CHUTE NO SACO F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético Das Teclas FC the free kick. Albertinho Prado was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 31st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Danilo Vergílio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Atlético Das Teclas FC fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when Atlético Das Teclas FC's Danilo Vergílio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Atlético Das Teclas FC's Claudinho Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidnei Moraes in the 72nd minute of play. After having played for 74 minutes, Danilo Vergílio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Das Teclas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danilo Vergílio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 77 minutes into the match, CHUTE NO SACO F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Naldo Cosme came free, but Maurício Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CHUTE NO SACO F.C.'s Maurício Reis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save CHUTE NO SACO F.C. from getting a goal against them.
