Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Alfredão Rodrigues started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Luiz Eduardo Monteiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualter Veloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Golfos's zone, Maicon Maciel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Eduardo Monteiro came out of the goal and Maicon Maciel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luiz Eduardo Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualter Veloso in the 9th minute of play. When Guartela EC's Gualter Veloso in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Golfos's goalie prevented a goal. Luiz Eduardo Monteiro came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Guartela EC's Gualter Veloso. But to his dismay, Gualter Veloso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Golfos's goalkeeper Luiz Eduardo Monteiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Guartela EC were furious when Ezequiel Duarte was red carded, 20 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a rather tough play, Guartela EC's Ezequiel Duarte got a free kick in the 21st minute. Paulinho Cordeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Vivaldo Zanette made a huge save. Luiz Eduardo Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Teixeira in the 26th minute of the match. A collision led to Guartela EC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Ronaldo Albuquerque hit a great ball. 1-2 became the score in the 29th minute when Patrick Botelho elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Golfos's Paulinho Cordeiro got a free kick in the 31st minute. Leopoldo Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Luiz Eduardo Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gualter Veloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Golfos's goal looked a bit too open when Nilson Mendonça came free, but Luiz Eduardo Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 42 played minutes Golfos got a freekick which was hit by Paulinho Cordeiro. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nilson Mendonça during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Golfos booed when Guartela EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilson Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Germano Linhares made a kick off. Vivaldo Zanette showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredão Rodrigues, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Vivaldo Zanette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulinho Cordeiro in the 57th minute of play. When Leopoldo Teixeira came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Guartela EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leopoldo Teixeira couldn't finish the play. Leopoldo Teixeira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luiz Eduardo Monteiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Luiz Eduardo Monteiro made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Nilson Mendonça sent off a good shot on target. Paulinho Cordeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulinho Cordeiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Germano Linhares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Luiz Eduardo Monteiro made a huge save. After having played for 75 minutes, Maicon Maciel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guartela EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maicon Maciel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Golfos getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Paulinho Cordeiro hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the match, Golfos's goalkeeper Luiz Eduardo Monteiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leopoldo Teixeira. Vivaldo Zanette showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulinho Cordeiro in the 83rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Golfos's Luiz Eduardo Monteiro got control of the ball when Leopoldo Teixeira tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Golfos's Alfredão Rodrigues got a free kick in the 86th minute. If Nilson Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Telmo França during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 90 played minutes Golfos got a freekick which was hit by Telmo França. Leopoldo Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Luiz Eduardo Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute Alberto de Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vivaldo Zanette saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Guartela EC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Golfos throughout the match.
