Golfos's Luiz Eduardo Monteiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Golfos from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Golfos booed when Roca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermínio Jacinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Rafael Urbano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luiz Eduardo Monteiro. Golfos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafael Urbano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Hermínio Jacinto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luiz Eduardo Monteiro came out and tried to block the shot, but Hermínio Jacinto slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 15th minute. Luiz Eduardo Monteiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafael Urbano in the 18th minute. If Rafael Urbano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giovani Toscano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Botelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafael Urbano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredão Rodrigues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Luiz Eduardo Monteiro managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Roca's Rafael Urbano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Giovani Toscano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Botelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Roca's Fiori Leite got a free kick in the 44th minute. When Roca's Hermínio Jacinto in the 49th minute got a chance for a shot 49th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Golfos's goalie prevented a goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfredão Rodrigues was the one to do the kick off. Giovani Toscano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredão Rodrigues in the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Roca's goalkeeper Giovani Toscano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Fiori Leite fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Roca's protests and gave Fiori Leite a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Roca getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Fiori Leite hit a great ball. Fiori Leite kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. The supporters of Golfos booed when Roca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aloísio Vergílio didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Alfredão Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 70 minutes, Silvério Couto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Golfos and the Roca players grew even worse after the yellow card. Golfos:s Luiz Eduardo Monteiro showed great skill when he stopped Juarês Borges:s penalty. In the 73rd minute of the match Roca got a corner. Golfos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Juarês Borges ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Roca's Rafael Urbano to a score. 3-0 in the 73rd minute. In the 86th minute, Patrick Botelho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Golfos defense, Rafael Urbano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luiz Eduardo Monteiro. The Golfos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luiz Eduardo Monteiro should have stopped the shot. Alfredão Rodrigues blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Giovani Toscano having to make a save. Patrick Botelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovani Toscano having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Roca had won after a very even match.
