The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Naldo Cosme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Luís Fábio Torres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Narciso de Senna hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Atlético Das Teclas FC's Cláudio Hoffmann got a free kick in the 12th minute. Romário Tasso hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Claudinho Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giuseppe Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Naldo Cosme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Fábio Torres having to interfere. In the 21st minute Giuseppe Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Naldo Cosme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Danilo Vergílio might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luís Fábio Torres. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Danilo Vergílio ran back to his position shaking his head. 28 minutes into the match, Atlético Das Teclas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Giuseppe Senna came free, but Claudinho Torres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Danilo Vergílio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Fábio Torres having to interfere. Anselmo Koehler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of The Ducks Sport Club booed when Atlético Das Teclas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. The wind increased when Giuseppe Senna made the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Washington Diniz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Ducks Sport Club and the Atlético Das Teclas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Washington Diniz kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Claudinho Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giuseppe Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Washington Diniz was shown his second yellow card after 59 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 60 played minutes The Ducks Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Washington Diniz. With his leg Luís Fábio Torres managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Atlético Das Teclas FC's Danilo Vergílio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in The Ducks Sport Club's zone, Danilo Vergílio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Fábio Torres came out of the goal and Danilo Vergílio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anselmo Koehler in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudinho Torres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anselmo Koehler might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claudinho Torres. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anselmo Koehler ran back to his position shaking his head. Atlético Das Teclas FC's Claudinho Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Koehler in the 72nd minute of play. The Atlético Das Teclas FC fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Atlético Das Teclas FC's Naldo Cosme looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 83 minutes, Naldo Cosme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Das Teclas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Naldo Cosme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anselmo Koehler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Atlético Das Teclas FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
