When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Lucas de Alcântara sped through FC Internazionale!'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Magno Teixeira. When Lucas de Alcântara in the 10th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Magno Teixeira kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 2-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. After 13 played minutes Floresta de Nottinghan got a freekick which was hit by Gino Prestes. Narciso Gerber was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 16 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute, one of Floresta de Nottinghan:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Floresta de Nottinghan. A collision led to FC Internazionale! getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Alex Velasco hit a great ball. After 26 minutes, Natã Medeiros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Internazionale! and the Floresta de Nottinghan players grew even worse after the yellow card. The goalkeeper, Magno Teixeira, was totally fooled by Floresta de Nottinghan's Hílton Monteiro, who 28 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Baltazar Ceresso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Magno Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Teodoro Fiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Floresta de Nottinghan's supporters rose to their feet, but Teodoro Fiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Magno Teixeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Baltazar Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Natã Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cacá Pitta to strike the kick off in the second half. But to his dismay, Baltazar Ceresso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 66th minute, Olívio Arantes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dudu Souto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cacá Pitta in the 69th minute of play. Baltazar Ceresso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baltazar Ceresso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Magno Teixeira having to make a save. After a rather tough play, FC Internazionale!'s Alex Velasco got a free kick in the 78th minute. Magno Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltazar Ceresso in the 79th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Teodoro Fiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Baltazar Ceresso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baltazar Ceresso took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Magno Teixeira. Magno Teixeira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Floresta de Nottinghan had played much better football throughout.
