Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sonhem EC's Naldo Leal started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sonhem EC's Eduardo Siqueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Salles in the 4th minute of play. If Rui Campidelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduardo Siqueira came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Shelter's Rui Campidelis. But to his dismay, Rui Campidelis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 21 played minutes Sonhem EC got a freekick which was hit by Osmar Domingues. Rui Campidelis, 21 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After having played for 27 minutes, Vágner Araújo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shelter's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vágner Araújo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rômulo Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deng Yang Ping having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Sonhem EC's zone, Rui Campidelis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduardo Siqueira came out of the goal and Rui Campidelis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Shelter's Rui Campidelis in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sonhem EC's goalie prevented a goal. After 41 played minutes Shelter got a freekick which was hit by Vágner Araújo. In the 42nd minute, Cesinha Cerezo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute, Rui Campidelis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th minute, Vágner Araújo made a precise shot to the right of Eduardo Siqueira. Sonhem EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Rui Campidelis made the kick off in the second half. Naldo Leal kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Pedro Salles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Naldo Leal kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. If Naldo Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rui Campidelis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Siqueira having to interfere. Sonhem EC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Rui Campidelis scored to the left of an out of position Eduardo Siqueira, making the score, 0-3. Shelter's Rui Campidelis got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Shelter left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sonhem EC.
