Spectators: 7195 (Terracing: 5398, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 143) Aloísio Brito started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 6th minute, Aloísio Brito left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A.Universidad dos Raios fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 12 played minutes Shelter got a freekick which was hit by Vágner Araújo. Rui Campidelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lucas Dante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 25 minutes into the game, Aloísio Brito cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Deng Yang Ping was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 32nd minute, Rui Campidelis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Shelter fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. José Pedro Eger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Tasso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deng Yang Ping came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by C.A.Universidad dos Raios's Aloísio Brito. But to his dismay, Aloísio Brito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Ortiz in the 45th minute of play forced Shelter's goalkeeper Deng Yang Ping to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

A collision led to C.A.Universidad dos Raios getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Leandro Bittencourt hit a great ball. Shelter's Rui Campidelis couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 55th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for C.A.Universidad dos Raios. If Paulo Ortiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rui Campidelis struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. José Pedro Eger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shelter. In the 68th minute, Vágner Araújo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute Gustavo Tasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Pedro Eger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deng Yang Ping made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Paulo Ortiz sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th minute, Rui Campidelis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Shelter fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Rui Campidelis put it in 3-3 from a short distance just to the right of José Pedro Eger. If Rui Campidelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 88 minutes of play, Shelter's Rui Campidelis made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Pedro Eger was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in C.A.Universidad dos Raios's zone, Rui Campidelis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Pedro Eger came out of the goal and Rui Campidelis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Shelter's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
