But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateus Moura couldn't finish the play. 14 minutes into the match, Albertinho Paraibano notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Pardiuva's Mateus Leite. Mateus Leite was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 26thth minute of the game Marcus Melo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fonseca FC's Reginaldo Almeida was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 27th minute Mateus Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reginaldo Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Mateus Moura managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pardiuva's supporters rose to their feet, but Mateus Moura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reginaldo Almeida breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 37 minutes into the match, Fonseca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Melo came free, but Reginaldo Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th match minute, Fonseca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovânio Linhares to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the match, Pardiuva's Rafinha de Andrade broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Reginaldo Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateus Moura in the 45th minute of play. Reginaldo Almeida came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Pardiuva's Mateus Moura. But to his dismay, Mateus Moura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcus Melo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 53 in the game by Mateus Moura from a close distance when the talented Reginaldo Almeida managed to make a qualified save. Fonseca FC's players were relieved. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerson Prado in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reginaldo Almeida saved Fonseca FC from getting behind. In the 59th minute, Mateus Moura got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the last second Reginaldo Almeida throw himself and got hold of the ball when Marcus Melo in the 61stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 69th minute, Mateus Moura left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pardiuva fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Reginaldo Almeida made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mateus Moura in the 74th minute. Abel Maciel's late challenge caught a Pardiuva's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abel Maciel helped the player get up and apologised. After 76 played minutes Fonseca FC got a freekick which was hit by Abel Maciel. 77 minutes into the match, Pardiuva's Rafinha de Andrade broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Marcus Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Reginaldo Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Gerson Prado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Pardiuva's José Paulo Eger got a free kick in the 91st minute. Fonseca FC's Geovânio Linhares couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Pardiuva.
