Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marcelinho Cearense started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Bode SC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Alfredo Arantes hit a great ball. Aírton Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tales Mendes in the 10th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, 17 de Novembro's Valdir Custódio got a free kick in the 14th minute. After a defensive mix-up in 17 de Novembro's zone, Luís Fernando de Lima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aírton Toledo came out of the goal and Luís Fernando de Lima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tales Mendess short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Aírton Toledo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 33 minutes into the game, Bode SC's Tales Mendes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aírton Toledo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Válter Pontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Tales Mendes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tales Mendes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, 17 de Novembro's Frédson Quadros got a free kick in the 56th minute. After having played for 61 minutes, Tales Mendes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bode SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tales Mendes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Luís Fernando de Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Matheus Vidal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aírton Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tales Mendes, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 71st minute of the game. One of 17 de Novembro:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bode SC:s goal. Ian Travassos shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tales Mendes in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aírton Toledo saved 17 de Novembro from getting behind. Válter Pontes kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fernando de Lima in the 84th minute of play forced 17 de Novembro's goalkeeper Aírton Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matheus Vidal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aírton Toledo having to make a save. Tales Mendes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Aírton Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Bode SC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
