Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Michel Vardy started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute, Calleri FC's Benê Carioca seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Benê Carioca the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Calleri FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Benê Carioca had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Bob Marley struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Anselmo Penha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calleri FC. Igor Furlan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vicente Pernambucano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Raymundo Melendes made a huge save. The nice shot from Vicente Pernambucano in the 29thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Raymundo Melendes had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Vicente Pernambucano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raymundo Melendes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dráusio da Cunha's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Anselmo Penha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dedé Chaves in the 35th minute of the match. Dráusio da Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raymundo Melendes having to interfere. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dráusio da Cunha to strike the kick off in the second half. Luís Gustavo Matos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Raymundo Melendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raymundo Melendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Félix, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. A collision led to Calleri FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Igor Furlan hit a great ball. Raymundo Melendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dráusio da Cunha in the 67th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Calleri FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Pernambucano came free, but Raymundo Melendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute, Vicente Pernambucano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mutrapeba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 82nd minute Vicente Pernambucano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raymundo Melendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Mutrapeba's zone, Igor Furlan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anselmo Penha came out of the goal and Igor Furlan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bob Marley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Anselmo Penha made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Igor Furlan sent off a good shot on target. The Mutrapeba support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
