After 58 minutes of play Guiomar AD's Almir Brasil was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Pardiuva's supporters rose to their feet, but Mateus Moura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudinei Neves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pardiuva's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
