Renatinho Damião fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guilherme Godoi having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Foz FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Luís Berger came free, but Claudinei Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, S.E. Barbudovski's goal looked a bit too open when Renatinho Damião came free, but Guilherme Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of S.E. Barbudovski booed when Foz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nelson Sá didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, S.E. Barbudovski's Alexandre de Barros broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Sílvio Luís Berger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Claudinei Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudinei Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Luís Berger in the 37th minute of play. Foz FC's Claudinei Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Luís Berger in the 43rd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Renatinho Damião made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, S.E. Barbudovski's goal looked a bit too open when Clóvis Goiano came free, but Guilherme Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudinei Silveira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonel de Godoi in the 54th minute. Sílvio Luís Berger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinei Silveira having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Renatinho Damião got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, S.E. Barbudovski's Válbson Trancoso got a free kick in the 61st minute. After recieving a nice pass, Foz FC's Paulo Andrade tried to score from far away in the 61st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonel de Godoi got free with Claudinei Silveira in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Renatinho Damião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 74 played minutes S.E. Barbudovski got a freekick which was hit by Jarbas Trigo. Foz FC's Paulo Andrade couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 75th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for S.E. Barbudovski. If Leonel de Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Foz FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Wiliam Urbano hit a great ball. If Leonel de Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 82 minutes of play, Foz FC's Nelson Sá made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guilherme Godoi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Guilherme Godoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cido Paranaense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cido Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guilherme Godoi having to interfere. The S.E. Barbudovski players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Foz FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
