Egídio Nascimento had several of the Rolo Compressor's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 7 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Juvenal Sena as he didn't even see the shot coming. Fabinho Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Egídio Nascimento struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Juvenal Sena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Teta FC. In the 19th minute Willian Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antônio Carlos Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 21 played minutes Teta FC got a freekick which was hit by Sidney Correia. In the 23rd minute, Gino Proença hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Egídio Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Teta FC's Abelardo Palmeira got a free kick in the 27th minute. Joélson Duarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Richard de Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Teta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Richard de Medeiros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juvenal Sena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Richard de Medeiros in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juvenal Sena saved Rolo Compressor from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Rolo Compressor's Raí de Lima got a free kick in the 44th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Rolo Compressor's zone, Egídio Nascimento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juvenal Sena came out of the goal and Egídio Nascimento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Richard de Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

52 minutes into the match, Rolo Compressor's goal looked a bit too open when Egídio Nascimento came free, but Juvenal Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56thth minute of the game Willian Domingues who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Teta FC's Antônio Carlos Toledo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 57 minutes, Joélson Duarte mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Teta FC and the Rolo Compressor players grew even worse after the yellow card. Joélson Duarte hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After having played for 61 minutes, Richard de Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Teta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Richard de Medeiros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Egídio Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Rolo Compressor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juvenal Sena should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard de Medeiros in the 85th minute of play forced Rolo Compressor's goalkeeper Juvenal Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juvenal Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egídio Nascimento in the 86th minute of the match. Sidney Correia hit a great ball. Décio Penha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Antônio Carlos Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Teta FC had played much better football throughout.
