After 27 minutes of play, Toronto Team's Umberto Sampaio made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Agostinho de Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Umberto Sampaio, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Umberto Sampaio made a kick off. Agostinho de Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Umberto Sampaio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Agostinho de Lima made a huge save. Genílson Bastos hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. The supporters of Toronto Team booed when JARDIM SELMA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raí da Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over Toronto Team could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than JARDIM SELMA FC throughout the match.
