Spectators: 7184 (Terracing: 5390, Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 142) In the 3rd match minute, Marinopolis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles Neto to maneuver through the defense. Wanderson Ferreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alexsandro Massa came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Cambuca's Álvaro Nunes. But to his dismay, Álvaro Nunes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Eliseu Sampaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Sebastião Cavalcante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cambuca's goalkeeper Sebastião Cavalcante, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Álvaro Nunes in the 12th minute of play forced Marinopolis's goalkeeper Alexsandro Massa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastião Cavalcante made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Nilson Bertassi sent off a good shot on target. After 15 minutes of play, Marinopolis's Nilson Bertassi made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sebastião Cavalcante was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eliseu Sampaio during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eliseu Sampaio kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Valério Leão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Marinopolis getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Rogério Siqueira hit a great ball. Álvaro Nunes took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexsandro Massa. Alexsandro Massa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Nilson Bertassi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. A very good chance for a goal. 38 minutes into the match, Cambuca's goalkeeper Sebastião Cavalcante had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nilson Bertassi. Andrézinho Pombal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eliseu Sampaio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Marinopolis's goal looked a bit too open when Diguinho Fantini came free, but Alexsandro Massa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Cambuca were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Nilson Bertassi made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Cambuca booed when Marinopolis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogério Siqueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Cambuca's Wanderson Ferreira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alexsandro Massa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nilson Bertassi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sebastião Cavalcante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nilson Bertassi in the 60th minute of the match. Sebastião Cavalcante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Medeiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute Nilson Bertassi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastião Cavalcante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Cambuca's Alexsandro Massa threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Valério Leão, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Nilson Bertassi struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Sebastião Cavalcante didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marinopolis. 81 minutes into the match, Marinopolis's goalkeeper Alexsandro Massa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thiago de Almeida. Eliseu Sampaio struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Sebastião Cavalcante didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marinopolis. Marinopolis's Eliseu Sampaio got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sebastião Cavalcante stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nilson Bertassi's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Thiago de Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. If Eliseu Sampaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
