Spectators: 7170 (Terracing: 5379, Seating: 1649, VIP seats: 142) In the 3rdth minute of the game Diguinho Fantini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Black Rovers FC's Edu Dracena was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 10 played minutes Black Rovers FC got a freekick which was hit by Dito Cruz. Diguinho Fantini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edu Dracena having to interfere. Fábio Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Sebastião Cavalcante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cambuca's Valério Leão got a free kick in the 26th minute. Duda Fernandez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sebastião Cavalcante. Cambuca's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Álvaro Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diguinho Fantini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edu Dracena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Álvaro Nunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edu Dracena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Diguinho Fantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diguinho Fantini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Edu Dracena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Álvaro Nunes made a kick off. Fábio Velasco scored 1-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sebastião Cavalcante, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edu Dracena made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Diguinho Fantini sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Paulo Ramos in the 60th minute of play forced Cambuca's goalkeeper Sebastião Cavalcante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Fábio Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the match, Cambuca's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Paulo Ramos came free, but Sebastião Cavalcante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 66 minutes of play Cambuca's Valério Leão was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Cambuca getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Valério Leão hit a great ball. In the 69th minute, Diguinho Fantini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dito Cruz's late challenge caught a Cambuca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dito Cruz helped the player get up and apologised. Dito Cruz hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 73 minutes into the game, Cambuca's Thiago de Almeida nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edu Dracena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 83rd minute Luiz Paulo Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastião Cavalcante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastião Cavalcante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dito Cruz in the 87th minute of the match. With a little luck, Black Rovers FC's Edu Dracena got control of the ball when Diguinho Fantini tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Black Rovers FC's zone, Diguinho Fantini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edu Dracena came out of the goal and Diguinho Fantini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cambuca's Sebastião Cavalcante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Paulo Ramos in the 96th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Black Rovers FC's Duda Fernandez got a free kick in the 97th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
