Spectators: 7226 (Terracing: 5421, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) Batel D Guarapuava Clube's Laércio da Fonseca started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Laércio da Fonseca took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfredão de Queiroz. Alfredão de Queiroz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 6 minutes, André Luiz Tavares made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Batel D Guarapuava Clube's Kiko Cardozo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 15th minute, André Luiz Tavares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kiko Cardozo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Laércio da Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredão de Queiroz having to interfere. With a little luck, Batel D Guarapuava Clube's Kiko Cardozo got control of the ball when Guga Vander tried to sneak it across the goal line. Natanael Prestes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Natanael Prestes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredão de Queiroz having to interfere. After 30 played minutes Batel D Guarapuava Clube got a freekick which was hit by Adelino Guerra. A collision led to Expressinho-ES F.C getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Paulo Matorin hit a great ball. Natanael Prestes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredão de Queiroz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th match minute, Batel D Guarapuava Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adelino Guerra to maneuver through the defense. Kiko Cardozo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guga Vander went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. With his leg Kiko Cardozo managed to avoid a goal in the 49thth minute, when Expressinho-ES F.C's Guga Vander fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.

The wind increased when Guga Vander made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Guga Vander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Expressinho-ES F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Guga Vander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kiko Cardozo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dráusio Branco struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Kiko Cardozo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Expressinho-ES F.C. 55 minutes into the game, Expressinho-ES F.C's Guga Vander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kiko Cardozo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guga Vander in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kiko Cardozo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 65 minutes into the match, Batel D Guarapuava Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Guga Vander came free, but Kiko Cardozo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68thth minute of the game Guga Vander who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Batel D Guarapuava Clube's Kiko Cardozo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Dráusio Branco came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Expressinho-ES F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dráusio Branco couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Batel D Guarapuava Clube booed when Expressinho-ES F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matías Paes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guga Vander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Kiko Cardozo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kiko Cardozo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guga Vander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guga Vander in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kiko Cardozo saved Batel D Guarapuava Clube from getting behind. Claudinho Quadros's late challenge caught a Expressinho-ES F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudinho Quadros helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Batel D Guarapuava Clube getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Claudinho Quadros hit a great ball. Batel D Guarapuava Clube's Kiko Cardozo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guga Vander in the 95th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Expressinho-ES F.C fully deserved thier win.
