With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Tróia in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gerson Neto saved Espiters F.C from getting behind. With a little luck, Espiters F.C's Gerson Neto got control of the ball when Nicolas Félix tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcus Ferraz was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 27 minutes into the match. The referee ignored Trios FC's protests and gave Edinho Capixaba a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th match minute, Trios FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edinho Capixaba to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Jacinto Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Tróia couldn't finish the play. Espiters F.C's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Edinho Capixaba 45 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luiz Eduardo das Neves to strike the kick off in the second half. Gerson Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Tróia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Trios FC had played much better football throughout.
