Spectators: 7254 (Terracing: 5442, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 144) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Guga Vander got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute of the match, Guga Vander tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Geraldo Lago saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Jacinto Garcia came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Trios FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto Garcia couldn't finish the play. Geraldo Lago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guga Vander, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Alfredão de Queiroz came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Trios FC's Paulo Tróia. But to his dismay, Paulo Tróia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Félix in the 31st minute of play forced Expressinho-ES F.C's goalkeeper Alfredão de Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredão de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Garcia in the 33rd minute of play. After having played for 34 minutes, Nicolas Félix managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trios FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolas Félix was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Trios FC's Nicolas Félix sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfredão de Queiroz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Expressinho-ES F.C's goalkeeper Alfredão de Queiroz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nicolas Félix scored 0-2 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfredão de Queiroz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 47 minutes, André Luiz Tavares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Expressinho-ES F.C and the Trios FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Trios FC booed when Expressinho-ES F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Luiz Tavares didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulo Tróia to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Guga Vander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 59 minutes into the game, Ian Alagoano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alfredão de Queiroz. Ian Alagoano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Trios FC's Nicolas Félix got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paulo Tróia kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guga Vander in the 75th minute of play forced Trios FC's goalkeeper Geraldo Lago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Trios FC's Paulo Tróia got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ian Alagoano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Luiz Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Geraldo Lago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo Tróia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredão de Queiroz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Trios FC played a much better game than Expressinho-ES F.C and deserved their victory. The Expressinho-ES F.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
