Spectators: 5350 (Terracing: 4200, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 50) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sebastião Barral kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Sebastião Barral had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sidney de Andrade. Porteira's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastião Barral was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Sebastião Barral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Téo Bittencourt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Tostão Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute Hélio Quirino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tostão Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 27 played minutes Kilas got a freekick which was hit by Gilson Cearense. In the 28th minute of the match Angelo Sergipano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tostão Santos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sidnei Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 39 minutes, João Augusto Favoretto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kilas's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Augusto Favoretto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sidney de Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastião Barral, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Sebastião Barral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kilas's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastião Barral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sidney de Andrade breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Kilas's Pedro Augusto Dionísio got a free kick in the 68th minute. Kilas's Tostão Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélio Quirino in the 77th minute of play. Sidney de Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastião Barral in the 82nd minute of play. Sebastião Barral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Augusto Dionísio hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Kilas's Tostão Santos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Kilas from getting a goal against them. Téo Bittencourt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
