The crowd rose to their feet as Tamarineiro EC's Percy Guedes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tostão Santos. After having played for 44 minutes, Maurinho Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tamarineiro EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maurinho Silveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maurinho Silveira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Tostão Santos made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Percy Guedes made a kick off. Luiz Fernando Recife took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Falcão Bueno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Falcão Bueno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Luiz Fernando Recife tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kilas's Gilson Cearense got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th minute Percy Guedes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tostão Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th match minute, Kilas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilson Cearense to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Kilas getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Gilson Cearense hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the match, Kilas's goal looked a bit too open when Percy Guedes came free, but Tostão Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Tamarineiro EC booed when Kilas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Augusto Dionísio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kilas's Tostão Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Percy Guedes in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Sydney Palmeira made a precise shot to the right of Tostão Santos. Kilas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. João Augusto Favoretto kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Pedro Augusto Dionísio hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match.
