Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pedrinho Veiga started the match with the kick off. Trigolandia's Fernandinho Carvalho got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 7 minutes into the match, Mynai FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernandinho Carvalho came free, but Anderson Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernandinho Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Anderson Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Henrique Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedrinho Veiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Flávio Alcântara made a huge save. The supporters of Mynai FC booed when Trigolandia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sidnei Sanches didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anderson Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidnei Sanches, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After having played for 24 minutes, Henrique Diniz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mynai FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henrique Diniz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Henrique Diniz struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Flávio Alcântara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mynai FC. Fernandinho Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anderson Toledo having to interfere. Anderson Toledo came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Trigolandia's Sidnei Sanches. But to his dismay, Sidnei Sanches quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Pedrinho Veiga came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Mynai FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedrinho Veiga couldn't finish the play. If Henrique Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henrique Diniz came free in the 46th minute and tried to tip the ball over Flávio Alcântara, but to the joy of Trigolandia's supporters the ball went over. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sidnei Sanches was the one to do the kick off. Mynai FC's Anderson Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernandinho Carvalho in the 54th minute of play. Henrique Diniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sidnei Sanches kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Henrique Diniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Flávio Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Trigolandia's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrinho Veiga came free, but Flávio Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anderson Toledo made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Sidnei Sanches sent off a good shot on target. Sidnei Sanches sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th match minute, Mynai FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedrinho Veiga to maneuver through the defense. Anselmo Dante hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. When Fernandinho Carvalho came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Trigolandia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernandinho Carvalho couldn't finish the play. Sidnei Sanches sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Mynai FC's zone, Sidnei Sanches stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anderson Toledo came out of the goal and Sidnei Sanches tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Trigolandia had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
