Cururupu SS's Mauro Bittencourt got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Oséias Cearense came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Cururupu SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oséias Cearense couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Willian Vinhas hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Evandro Sena might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kay Pop. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Evandro Sena ran back to his position shaking his head. Cururupu SS's Oséias Cearense got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Diogo Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Bittencourt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
