Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mateus Rezende got the match started through his kick off. Juturnaiba FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Mateus Rezende 3 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. 6 minutes into the match, Juturnaiba FC's goalkeeper Ezequiel das Neves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valdir Cardoso. Grêmio's Pedrão Leme couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 11th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Juturnaiba FC. After having played for 22 minutes, Valdir Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grêmio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valdir Cardoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Eriberto Lira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Mateus Rezende's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ezequiel das Neves was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. The supporters of Juturnaiba FC booed when Grêmio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdir Cardoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eriberto Lira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ezequiel das Neves having to make a save. Eriberto Lira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Ezequiel das Neves made a huge save. Mateus Rezende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel das Neves having to interfere. Ezequiel das Neves didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Grêmio's Guilherme Quintal shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 45th minute Guilherme Quintal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezequiel das Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Grêmio's Mateus Rezende in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Juturnaiba FC's goalie prevented a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and David Cavalcante made a kick off. Mateus Rezende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute, Eriberto Lira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Grêmio fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Juturnaiba FC's goalkeeper Ezequiel das Neves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 64 minutes into the match, Eriberto Lira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ezequiel das Neves. Juturnaiba FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eriberto Lira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. 73 minutes into the match, Grêmio's goal looked a bit too open when David Cavalcante came free, but Cléberson Jacinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eriberto Lira struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Ezequiel das Neves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grêmio. Eriberto Lira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee ended the match the Grêmio players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
