The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Fernando Prata got free with Daniel Donatello in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. José Pedro Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Daniel Donatello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Fernando Prata took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel Donatello. Daniel Donatello dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Abadia's Daniel Donatello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Délio Saraiva in the 10th minute of play. Daniel Donatello stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of José Pedro Veiga's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Adhemar Sampaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Délio Saraiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Fernando Prata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valralla.F.C's Carlos Fernando Prata got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlos Fernando Prata in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Daniel Donatello, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Valralla.F.C's Patrick Marquez got a free kick in the 29th minute. José Pedro Veiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rd minute Délio Saraiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Donatello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 39 minutes, Carlos Fernando Prata made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Abadia's Daniel Donatello tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 42 minutes into the match, Abadia's goal looked a bit too open when Délio Saraiva came free, but Daniel Donatello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, Valralla.F.C's José Pedro Veiga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daniel Donatello made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Délio Saraiva made a kick off. Daniel Donatello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Pedro Veiga in the 53rd minute of play. Patrick Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Délio Saraiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sérgio de Salles in the 58th minute of play forced Valralla.F.C's goalkeeper Wanderson Damião to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alessandro Prestes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Wanderson Damião made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, José Pedro Veiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valralla.F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but José Pedro Veiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Donatello breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Fernando Prata in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Donatello saved Abadia from getting behind. If Elder Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. In the 76th minute, Sidnei Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Valralla.F.C's Elder Fernandez in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Abadia's goalie prevented a goal. Daniel Donatello came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Valralla.F.C's Carlos Fernando Prata. But to his dismay, Carlos Fernando Prata quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. If José Pedro Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st match minute, Abadia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidney Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. If José Pedro Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adhemar Sampaio's late challenge caught a Valralla.F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adhemar Sampaio helped the player get up and apologised. Valralla.F.C were awarded a corner in the 96th minute after Abadia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Carlos Fernando Prata took the corner. The corner led Valralla.F.C's Carlos Fernando Prata to fire away a dangerous shot which Daniel Donatello despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.
