Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Noel Maranhense made the kick off and thus started the match. If Gabriel da Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lokomotiv Football Art's Zézinho Marquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard de Castro in the 19th minute of play. Noel Maranhense scored 1-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Pedro Toledo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zézinho Marquez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgard de Castro's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Ema's Edgard de Castro was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 40th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgard de Castro made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard de Castro in the 53rd minute of play forced Lokomotiv Football Art's goalkeeper Zézinho Marquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zézinho Marquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard de Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Lokomotiv Football Art booed when Ema was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuca Pernambucano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zézinho Marquez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ema walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
