After 3 played minutes, G5 FUTEBOL CLUBE's Edgar Pombal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rafael Almeida came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in G5 FUTEBOL CLUBE reached it. Magno Azevedo took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rafael Almeida. Rafael Almeida dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 8 minutes into the match, Cléber Soeiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evaristo Vander. G5 FUTEBOL CLUBE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cléber Soeiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Rafael Almeida came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by G5 FUTEBOL CLUBE's Marcelo Zanette. But to his dismay, Marcelo Zanette quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 18th minute of the match Edgar Pombal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rafael Almeida showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bruno Peres struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Evaristo Vander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sonifarma F.C. Marcelo Zanette might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rafael Almeida. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcelo Zanette ran back to his position shaking his head. The G5 FUTEBOL CLUBE fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when G5 FUTEBOL CLUBE's Marcelo Zanette looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Osmar Barbosa kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Sonifarma F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Magno Azevedo came free, but Rafael Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Magno Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Rafael Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Magno Azevedo in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafael Almeida saved Sonifarma F.C from getting behind. Romeu Donato hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Evaristo Vander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cléber Soeiro's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Marcelo Zanette took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rafael Almeida. Rafael Almeida dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 55th minute, Marcelo Zanette reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rafael Almeida. The goal made the score 1-5. After a defensive mix-up in G5 FUTEBOL CLUBE's zone, Cléber Soeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaristo Vander came out of the goal and Cléber Soeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Magno Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sonifarma F.C's Rafael Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Zanette in the 65th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Sonifarma F.C's zone, Magno Azevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Almeida came out of the goal and Magno Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Sonifarma F.C's Rafael Almeida got control of the ball when Magno Azevedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Magno Azevedo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rafael Almeida. That made the score 1-6 in the 74 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelo Zanette in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafael Almeida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Sonifarma F.C's Osmar Barbosa got a free kick in the 81st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelo Zanette in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafael Almeida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcelo Zanette received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Bruno Peres charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruno Peres the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Sonifarma F.C's Bruno Peres got a free kick in the 95th minute. In the 98th minute of the match G5 FUTEBOL CLUBE got a corner. Sonifarma F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cássio Meirelles ran over to the corner to take the kick. G5 FUTEBOL CLUBE's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
