Spectators: 7298 (Terracing: 5475, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. After 9 minutes, Raí Leão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Walter´S FC and the Suico players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Walter´S FC's Raí Leão got a free kick in the 9th minute. Edmundo Gomes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aílton Félix in the 13th minute of play. Nicolas Rezende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Walter´S FC's Erivaldo Fernandes got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Nicolas Rezende notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Walter´S FC's Edmundo Gomes. Edmundo Gomes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Breno Simões made a kick off. When Aílton Félix in the 53rd play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Edmundo Gomes kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-2 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Aílton Félix struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Edmundo Gomes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Suico. In the 63rd minute, Walter´S FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nicolas Rezende fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Horácio da Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Breno Simões managed to get in a good position for a shot. Walter´S FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Breno Simões was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ademar Falcão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 70 minutes, Nicolas Rezende managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Suico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolas Rezende was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Walter´S FC's Edmundo Gomes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Walter´S FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Suico's Antônio de Queirós got a free kick in the 75th minute. Ademar Falcão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Breno Simões in the 76th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Nicolas Rezende could shoot a difficult shot in the 78th minute, which Edmundo Gomes however easily saved by the left post. Ademar Falcão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Breno Simões, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Breno Simões scored 2-2 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ademar Falcão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Denílson Souto during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Suico booed when Walter´S FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denílson Souto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicolas Rezende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmundo Gomes having to interfere. Edmundo Gomes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aílton Félix in the 95th minute of the match. Ademar Falcão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erivaldo Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute.
