The tension between the Clandestino FC and the Gressa FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Clandestino FC's Belmiro Lopes got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 6th match minute, Gressa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cássio Maia to maneuver through the defense. After 8 minutes, Cássio Maia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gressa FC and the Clandestino FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th minute, Cássio Maia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Perivaldo Velloso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cássio Maia's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Andrés Moro put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Perivaldo Velloso. Andrés Moro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute Andrés Moro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Perivaldo Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Perivaldo Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrés Moro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Cássio Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zeca Pitta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Belmiro Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After 47th play minutes Andrés Moro shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Perivaldo Velloso and just under the crossbar into goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andrés Moro made a kick off. Perivaldo Velloso stood somewhat misplaced when Andrés Moro came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 52 minute. In the 58th minute, Andrés Moro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Perivaldo Velloso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Zeca Pitta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Romero in the 63rd minute of play. In the 63rd match minute, Gressa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cássio Maia to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrés Moro got free with Perivaldo Velloso in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 70 minutes into the match, Clandestino FC's goalkeeper Perivaldo Velloso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dadá de Medeiros. After 70 played minutes Clandestino FC got a freekick which was hit by Samuca de Salles. 73 minutes into the game, Ricardo Romero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Clandestino FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gressa FC the free kick. Andrés Moro did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-6 to the left of a surprised Perivaldo Velloso 77 minutes into the match. Zeca Pitta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano de Brito in the 80th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Dadá de Medeiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. During the 83rd minute of the match Ricardo Romero completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ricardo Romero a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 84th match minute, Clandestino FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Romero to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Andrés Moro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gressa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrés Moro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Perivaldo Velloso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dênis Cerezo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Perivaldo Velloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andrés Moros short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Perivaldo Velloso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Andrés Moro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Perivaldo Velloso firmly grabbed it by the left post. Zeca Pitta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano de Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andrés Moro had several of the Clandestino FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 95 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-7 score and a disappointed Perivaldo Velloso as he didn't even see the shot coming.
