Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Aílton Félix kicked off to start the match. After 2 played minutes Ipaussu got a freekick which was hit by Valdo Cerezo. Washington da Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Rezende, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Ipaussu's Ademar Falcão threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dito Chaves, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Nicolas Rezende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Washington da Costa having to interfere. Washington da Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aílton Félix in the 16th minute of play. After having played for 18 minutes, Nando Paraibano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ipaussu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nando Paraibano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ademar Falcão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dito Chaves in the 20th minute of the match. Nicolas Rezende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Washington da Costa having to interfere. 24 minutes into the game, Suico's Aílton Félix nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Washington da Costa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 31st of the match, Dito Chaves tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Ademar Falcão got in the way and made a wonderful save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dito Chaves in the 40th minute of play forced Suico's goalkeeper Ademar Falcão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
The wind increased when Dito Chaves made the kick off in the second half. When Nicolas Rezende came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Suico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolas Rezende couldn't finish the play. Suico's Nicolas Rezende got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 66 minutes into the game, Sérgio Linhares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Suico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ipaussu the free kick. Sérgio Linhares kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After having played for 72 minutes, Dito Chaves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ipaussu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dito Chaves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Róbson Macedo fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Suico's protests and gave Róbson Macedo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ipaussu booed when Suico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Róbson Macedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Suico's goal looked a bit too open when Dito Chaves came free, but Ademar Falcão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ademar Falcão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dito Chaves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nando Paraibano hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. 88 minutes into the game, Dito Chaves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Ademar Falcão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
